A family Business
In a hamlet of Montespertoli, on the old road leading from Florence to San Gimignano, we run our company Ceramiche Ammannati, in 375 square meters of space used as a warehouse, exhibition and workshop for glazing, decorating and firing handcrafted ceramics.
30 years of artistic ceramics
The family-run business was founded in 1995 with the production of hand-decorated artistic ceramics and tiles, relying on close collaborations with talented painters, woodturners and limers in the surrounding area.
Artists but above all ceramic craftsmen
We work semi-finished ceramic objects by applying glaze to the surface and decorating with elegant and traditional patterns.In the small kiln for firing, we can produce a large number of tiles in a really short time. We have a large portfolio of ceramic creations at our disposal.
Our focus on the pictorial aspect has enabled our business to stand out in the art ceramics market thanks to the wide variety of handcrafted shapes and decorations on tiles and panels.

Tiles and panels often capture the typical Tuscan landscape: the gentle rolling hills, overlooked by expanses of fields of olive trees and vines that characterize the surrounding countryside.
In addition, the influence of Montelupo Fiorentino’s ceramic tradition on our artistic tiles is tangible: Montelupo has been a center of ceramic production since the Middle Ages, and our decorations draw and rework precisely from that ancient Tuscan tradition.
